Mr. Emam joined Cosentini in 2008 as a vice president and managing director of Cosentini’s United Arab Emirates practice. Mr. Emam has over 20 years of international engineering and management experience in projects varying from mixed-use tall towers to healthcare and educational facilities, hotels and resorts, infrastructure, sports arenas, commercial and government facilities and industrial buildings. During those years, Mr. Emam established a 42-person engineering office in Amman, Jordan where he was responsible for overall operations and project management for projects in Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, Yemen, Syria, Egypt, Sri Lanka, Jerusalem, etc. As managing director of Cosentini’s UAE practice, Mr. Emam serves as liaison between Cosentini’s engineering teams and UAE consultants, clients and contractors; and is responsible for providing overall guidance with regard to UAE construction codes and practices. Mr. Emam holds his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Wichita State University and is a licensed electrical engineer. His professional memberships include the Institute of Electronic Electrical Engineers, the National Society of Professional Engineers, the National Fire Protection Association and the Illuminating Engineering Society of North America.
