Mr. Martinez' electrical engineering and project management experience extends over 25 years. Since joining Cosentini Associates in 1986 he has been responsible for the design of electrical systems and infrastructure for such project types as corporate headquarters, tenant interiors, high-rise office towers, mixed-use developments, tenant corporate headquarters and cultural facilities. Mr. Martinez' recent work includes multiple large-scale mixed-use developments and cultural facilities in the Middle East, Russia and Korea. Most notable are the Al Raha Beach in Abu Dhabi, UAE; the Museum of Modern Arab Art in Doha, Qatar; and Jebel Ali Central Zone, Plaza 1 in Dubai, UAE - total construction exceeds 1.2 million square feet. Many of these projects are to obta in LEED certification and, in Dubai, are in accordance with the Environment, Health and Safety organization of Dubai World. Other prominent projects engineered by Mr. Martinez include: Four Times Square and Time Warner Center in New York City; the Gugenheim Museum in Bilbao, Spain; several new academic buildings in New York; and the new headquarters of Random House in New York City; among many others. Mr. Martinez attended the Polytechnic Institute and is a licensed professional engineer in New York, Nevada and Arizona. He is a member of the Institute of Electronic Electrical Engineers, the National Society of Professional Engineers and the National Fire Protection Association.
