Since
joining Cosentini Associates in 1982, Mr. Maybaum has been
responsible for the management and/or engineering design of
millions of square feet of construction - for a wide range
of projects throughout the world, including hotels, residential
developments, high-rise office buildings, mixed-use facilities,
corporate headquarters and research laboratories. Mr. Maybaum's
commitment to energy conservation and sustainable design principles
dates back to his career prior to Cosentini - where he served
as Director of the Department of Energy's Passive and Hybrid
Solar Energy Division, for which he planned and directed over
300 research, development, and demonstration projects for
building applications. Mr. Maybaum received his Bachelor of
Science in Aerospace Engineering from the Catholic University
and his Master of Science in Engineering Management from George
Washington University. He is a licensed engineer in numerous
U.S. states and a member of the American Society of Heating,
Refrigerating, and Air Conditioning Engineers.
