Mr.
Vaidean joined Cosentini Information Technologies in 1997
and became its director in 2006. His experience in designing
telecommunications cabling infrastructure for hotels, convention
centers, residential buildings, government facilities, corporate
office space and arts centers, to name a few. From 1999 to
2004, Mr. Vaidean served as the IT Project Manager for Time
Warner Center, a 2 million sq ft mixed use facility in the
heart of New York City. For this project, Mr. Vaidean
presented an original technology business model to the developers
using the size and scale of the building’s varied tenants
and uses. The business model, which incorporated four elements:
1) Voice/Data/Hi-Speed Internet/CATV, 2) Wireless –
WiFi and Cellular, 3) Rooftop Technology and 4) Broadcast
Sites placed throughout the building, gave the project the
potential for revenue where before there were only costs.
Mr. Vaidean’s work on this project earned Cosentini
the 2004 ACEC Diamond Award.
