This new academic complex is the largest public higher education project in New York State. Totaling approximately 785,000 square feet, the new $270 million facility includes instructional and administrative spaces for the College’s Zicklin School of Business and the Mildred and George Weissman School of Arts and Sciences. The 17-story project includes a 13-story atrium, three below-ground levels that house a gymnasium with room for 1,200 spectators, a 25-meter pool, a 300-seat theater and a 250-seat recital hall. Additional program elements include a student union, bookstore, food court and community meeting areas. The complex was designed to contain the latest educational technologies including computer workstations with Internet access for research, communication and distance learning.
