This 150,000 square foot project entailed both renovation and new construction. The new construction includes a 25,000 square foot library, classrooms, offices and moot courts. An in-fill building to match floor elevations with the existing building was required. The minimum floor to floor height available (7-1/2 ft) limited the use of hung ceilings and necessitated fully integrated lighting, piping and ductwork distribution with the architecture and structure. All areas within the existing facility were upgraded to current code requirements. The library features student and faculty access to electronic information throughout the new and existing buildings.
