This
180,000 square foot trading operations facility accommodates
up to 750 traders and includes a 40,000 square foot
Tier IV data center. The UPS system in this $160 million
project has two N+1 systems, each rated 1000 KVA redundant;
four generators, each rated 1750 KW with N+1 design;
and two independent utility services entering from two
different streets. The critical facility has multiple
cooling plants utilizing both water-cooled chillers
for optimum efficiency and air-cooled chillers for reliability.
The data center has digitally controlled computer grade
air conditioning units in an N+1 arrangement. The underfloor
area was closely coordinated so that the communications
cabling, power supplies and air delivery were all accommodated.
The raised floor is protected by an FM200 system and
is backed up by the pre-action sprinkler system that
safeguards all of the critical areas.
