This
$115 million complex is located just blocks from Lincoln’s
home and the historic Old State Capitol. It contains
a library that serves researchers and scholars with
the most extensive collection of Lincoln papers and
artifacts in existence; and includes a 135,862 square
foot museum with interactive exhibit capabilities. The
museum houses just a sampling of some of the 46,000
priceless Lincoln artifacts belonging to the State of
Illinois’ Henry Horner Lincoln Collection, true-to-life
and interactive presentations of major events in the
life of Lincoln, as well as a restaurant, gift shop
and support spaces.
