Bob joined Cosentini in 1987 and is a senior vice president and director of the firm’s Boston-area office. He is a recognized expert in the design of mechanical systems for project types ranging from laboratories and educational buildings to corporate headquarters, high-rise residential and mixed-use developments, and hotels. He also has significant experience in public assembly and government facilities. His current work includes a 300,000 sf headquarters for TripAdvisor, Needham, Massachusetts; Parcel I at Fan Pier, Boston, a Class A office building and new home to Goodwin Proctor; and the Landmark Center Redevelopment, a complete renovation and expansion of a mixed-use complex including 600,000 gsf office, 300,000 gsf retail, 500,000 gsf of below-grade parking, and 600 residential units. 

He earned a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering from Clarkson University and his Master’s in Business Administration from Boston College. He is a licensed professional engineer in numerous states and a member of the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating, and Air Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE), the National Council of Engineering Examiners, and the Society for College and University Planning (SCUP). Bob has lectured on sustainable building design, underfloor air distribution systems, and building commissioning at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology's Graduate School of Architecture, and at several workshops held at the annual BUILD Boston conference.
