Senior Vice President / Life Sciences Lead
Vlad, a senior vice president with more than 25 years of experience in the design of mechanical systems, joined Cosentini in 1989. His particular expertise is in the design of HVAC systems for laboratories, performing arts venues, educational buildings, and athletic facilities. Throughout his career, he has incorporated various engineering innovations into the full range of his work, including underfloor air systems, displacement ventilation systems, and chilled beams.
Vlad is a licensed professional engineer in several states and a LEED Accredited Professional. He holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Moscow Civil Engineering University, and is a member of the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating, and Air Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) and the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME). He has served as a panelist at a number of Build Boston conferences, and contributed to “Chilled Beams or Expensive Diffusers?” which appeared in the ASHRAE Journal. In his spare time, Vlad is a long-distance runner.
